METHODS OF CREATIVE THINKING (1112703279)

What is CREATIVE THINKING?
Creative thinking is the process where we generate new ideas. It is the merging of ideas which have not been merged before. There are a few methods for creative thinking such as brainstorming, mind map, juxtaposition and analogy.
What is MIND MAP?
A mind map is a simple diagram to represent our ideas using key words centralizing around the topic. Mind maps can be divided into two:
-          Logical mind map
-          Associated mind map
LOGICAL MIND MAP
Logical mind map often deals with using key words and images that are directly related to the topic. In other words, the key words are all stereotypical.
ASSOCIATED MIND MAP
Associated mind map usually uses random key word that has nothing to do with the topic itself but later on would be used to link it to the topic. In other words, the key words are far from being stereotypical.
What is STEREOTYPE?
Stereotype can be projected in a single word which is based on observation. Most of the people think the same way about certain things therefore making them a stereotype. Example, what is the first thing that comes to your mind when someone says ‘nerd’? Immediately we think of a person wearing glasses, carrying a stack of books. That is stereotype.  If you didn’t thought of that, well then you might be one of the different ones.
