ASSIGNMENT 2
Thinking is the highest mental activity one has. All attainments and advancements come from one’s thoughts. Without thinking, nothing moves forward.
“Creativity is the use of imagination or original ideas”
Thinking involves the thoughts that run through one’s mind about any subject matter, while creativity also involves thinking, BUT the thoughts are later put into action. Ideas produced from creativity must be “evaluated, improved, polished and marketed” (http://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newCT_00.htm) before it can be of any value. However, to produce ideas, thinking must not be maximized as this may lead towards stereotypical thoughts, which creativity is not about.___________________________________________________________________
ASSIGNMENT 3
The brain is divided into two sections, which are called hemispheres. The right side of the brain controls the left side of the body and vice versa. The two sides of the brain have different functions.

From the list in the table, it can be said that the right brain conquers the emotions, feelings of an individual, where the thoughts are more “adventurous” (looks towards the big picture). The left side however conquers the rational and logical thoughts. Conflicts usually occur when an individual over-relies on the left-brain and when this happens; the information transferred from the right brain to the left is not recognized. This may be a great disadvantage as the right brain has the ability to accurately assess situations.
